How to connect the set top box

The following are the steps you should follow to connect the set top box to your television set:



1. Connect the antenna cable to the set top box (RF IN socket)
 
 
 
 

2. Connect the set top box to the TV set using one of the following cables a) SCART or b) RCA or c)HDMI
 

 

a) Connection using a SCART cable


 

b) Connection using an RCA cable

 

c) Connection using an HDMI cable
 


3.  Plug in the set top box


 

4. In order to keep watching the analogue channels, connect another antenna cable from the set top box (RF OUT socket) …


 

5. …to the TV set (RF IN socket).


6. Search for the socket to which you have connected the set top box using the TV remote control and scan for channels using the remote of the set top box, after you have read the manual.



7. From now on, you switch channels using the remote of the set top box and you use the remote of the TV set in order to switch on/ off the TV and turn up/ down the sound.
