On the occasion of inaccurate press reports implicating Digea in yesterday’s Public Television signal interruption, which attempt to create an misleading and negative company image, Digea – Services Provider S.A. intends to clarify the following so as to accurately inform the public:

  • Digea is not involved in any way in yesterday’s event of the Public Television’s signal interruption.
  • Digea DOES NOT OFFER broadcasting services to Public Television, meaning that the Public Television signal IS NOT TRANSMITTED by Digea, but from transmitters belonging to Public Television.
  • Temporarily, Digea EXCLUSIVELY offers encoding and multiplexing services to Public Television. These services did not present any technical problem and continue to be offered to Public Television seamlessly.

It is the company’s obligation to point out that questions arise on this particular juncture that reproduces such suspicious and misleading publications, stating that it reserves the option to exercise any legal right.
