Electronic/Electrical Engineer

Role Profile Description:

The position will be part of the Network Infrastructure Department, handling the design, construction and maintenance of the company’s passive infrastructure and the licensing of the whole network according to legislation.

The role’s responsibilities are:

to oversee, coordinate and monitor the preparation of EMF studies, conducted internally or by external parties,

to coordinate and monitor all actions required to activate new power supply and to license power generators, 

to assist the team in the licensing of the Company’s infrastructure. 

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and prepare info necessary for EMF studies conducted by external parties, collaborate with them and provide all necessary guidance required.
  2. Monitor and control EMF studies conducted by external parties.
  3. Conduct EMF studies, when required.
  4. Prepare documentation, organize and monitor all actions required and handle all communications with DEDDIE needed to activate new power supply for the Company’s sites.
  5. Prepare documentation, coordinate external parties (contractors, DEDDIE) and monitor the licensing of the Company’s power generators located on sites.
  6. Monitor all sites electrical drawings as submitted to DEDDIE to confirm their validity and manage their renewal when required.
  7. Monitor and report work progress and status. 
  8. Monitor external contractors and provide guidance for issues relevant to a) EMF studies, b) elaboration of electrical drawings, c) new power supplies, d) licensing of power generators.
  9. Assist the team in designing sites and passive infrastructure according to relative legislation, existing permits and the company’s specifications. 
  10. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required. 

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (AEI-TEI) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. 
  2. At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical or Electronic engineer in a position with similar duties.
  3. Solid understanding of electrical drawings.
  4. Solid understanding of EMF studies.
  5. Professional skills in AutoCAD (2D) and MS Office.
  6. Excellent communication skills in Greek & English.
  7. Positive attitude with strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to take initiatives and propose new ideas.
  9. Ability to deliver results in a timely manner.
  10. Military obligations (if any) fulfilled. 

Additional Requirements/Qualifications considered an asset:

  1. Experience in electrical design.
  2. Further knowledge of CAD software (Autocad 3D) will be appreciated.
